Interview with Alessandra Bodda, a famous wine businesswoman who tells birth and benefits of her face creams extracted from grapes.
Pink quotas always make the difference. Even in wine. Alessandra Bodda, 50, from Turin, is one of the most famous Italian enoque entrepreneurs. A passion for screws and vineyards, passed down by his grandfather, who founded Tenuta La Pergola (which he has been in the lead for over twenty years), in the province of Asti, in 1903. Over a century of history, Prizes and prizes for the bottles of the historic Piedmont cellar, cited on all the major Italian food & wine guides. Alessandra Bodda is a vanguardist: he was the first producer to sell #vino in complementary currency, guaranteeing the circulation of goods and the development of his turnover, thus preserving precious jobs, through a modern barter between useful businesses In periods of absence of liquidity.
Today she has also been able to design the first line of natural cosmetics in Italy, based on ... grapes. And the "Tenuta La Pargola" is also due to the creation of an excellent Italian wine, the 'Cisterna D'Asti'. In the interview, Alessandra Bodda tells us how the wine and its scraps, the grapes, can be reused to create a high quality facial cream!
Famous wine entrepreneur and now also producer of #Bellezza creams inspired by his own main product, wine. How did this idea come from?
As a company, we already try to reduce the chemicals in the vineyard and also in the cellar and the scrap of wines, the marc, we try to use them as much as possible. The grapes are extracted from the press and can still be used because they still have potential.
Some pomace we use to make grappas, and with some of the pomace we do not use for them, the crochet, we have discovered through a company we work with, which is rich in polyphenols, which help to block the aging of Skin, so we studied the creams!
What range of products have you achieved so far?
At the moment we just created face cream, but other products could come.
And how did the audience respond to this new product, being used only to wines?
I'm curious. On the market, there are already other creams of the genus derived from wine, it is true, but are commercial while ours is totally different because it comes from an autochthonous grape, it is craftsmanship, and the people of the area (of the Aegean) are affected because it uses All products at 0 Km. The color of the cream is just color wine and, in fact, we recommend not to put it in the evening because it has slightly a bit of color and could bother those who put it on their face before sleeping.
But it does not stain (indeed, it helps to eliminate them!): It gives a bit of color to
natural skin, so for the summer it's perfect! The application must be done consistently in order to get the best results.
Is a line of products only designed for women or even for men?
Facial cream is a unisex product, and from our study it came out that many men are interested in purchasing the cream!
In your opinion, who is he / she can likewise appreciate a cream made from wine products?
Absolutely, there is no relevance between the two. Even those who do not like wine as a drink can still appreciate the use of the cream because it is odorless: with the addition of various scents it would lose its naturalness and that's not the purpose!
And what target have you set for?
It is a medium to high cream but is comfortably affordable by everyone.
